On Thursday Beşiktaş emphatically trashed Lugano in the UEFA Europa League play-off round to edge out the swiss 8-4 on aggregate after a 5-1 win at the Beşiktaş Tüpraş stadium. Goals from Ciro Immobile (2), Gedson Fernandes, Rafa Silva and Salih Uçan. The goal for the visitors came from their striker Vladi.

Following our discussion on the match, we'll be diving in to Friday's UEL league stage draw in which Beşiktaş were paired with Eintracht Frankfurt, AFC Ajax, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Olympique Lyonnais, Bodo/Glimt, Malmö, Athletic Club de Bilbao and FC Twente.
